Orbify and GeoKinesia officially partnered under the Eurostars 3 Programme

Orbify and GeoKinesia have officially partnered under the Eurostars 3 programme to jointly build the next-generation Global Ground Motion Service (GGMS).

This collaboration brings together:

• GeoKinesia’s deep expertise in InSAR processing, geohazard monitoring, and remote sensing analytics.
• Orbify’s advanced platform engineering capabilities in geospatial data processing, AI, UX, and cloud deployment.

We are launching the GGMS Project, a 24-month initiative to build a fully automated online platform for monitoring land deformation anywhere in the world.

The platform will deliver:

• Automated InSAR data processing
• Machine-learning-enhanced early movement detection
• An intuitive, web-based visualisation and analytics interface
• Scalable cloud deployment for real-time and on-demand analysis

This system will provide mining companies, infrastructure operators, insurers, governments, and environmental agencies with unprecedented insight into ground motion risks.Ground deformation—whether caused by mining, construction, earthquakes, landslides, or subsidence—poses growing risks to infrastructure, safety, and climate resilience. Today’s monitoring solutions are often slow, costly, or require highly specialized expertise.

GGMS aims to make ground deformation intelligence accurate, automated, and accessible.

The project will:

• Increase safety through earlier and more reliable detection of ground movement
• Reduce monitoring costs via automation and cloud-native tools
• Improve decision-making with clear visual analytics
• Enable global-scale monitoring powered by satellite data and proprietary algorithms
